Women Health Care Promotion - Use of Mid level Female Providers in Rural Settings

Health care is a basic need the access of which is denied to many women in our society. This project seeks to address the problems of health care for women in Bangladesh society. The specific objectives of this are as follows: (a) Assessment of skill utilization of mid level female providers, Community Maternity Practitioners (CMP) for comprehensive reproductive health care. (b) Skill utilization at rural communities. (c) Skill utilization at private hospital or clinics. (d) Skill utilization after recruitment in the urban health and family planning facilities. (e) Skill utilization as an entrepreneur (as a private practitioner) (f) Assessment of the extent of empowerment of the CMPs as direct contribution of their skill utilization to the community. (g) Assessment of Skill utilization of CMP for adolescent care in the community. (h) Assessment of the improvement of health status of the community through skill utilization of the CMPs.
